NFPA 75 ROC 2011

The 2011 edition of NFPA 75 was originally scheduled for release at the end of calendar year 2011.  An certified NITMAM, however, has delayed its release until after the June 2012 annual meeting of the National Fire Protection Association.

One of the most important additions to the upcoming edition of NFPA 75 is guidance and requirements for implementation of hot aisle/cold aisle containment systems.  The language which has been accepted by the NFPA 75 technical committee is contained in Public Comment 75-18 Log #28. (This new language is not related to the certified NITMAN.)  Although the requirements will not become an official part of the NFPA 75 standard until such time as the NFPA Standards Council approves the revised standard (expected in August 2012), the requirements have been well considered and agreed upon by the NFPA 75 technical committee.

We provide the following link to a copy of the language accepted by the NFPA 75 Technical Committee acting on Public Comment 75-18 Log #28 as published in the NFPA 75 F2011 ROC.      75-18 Log 28

The complete ROC may be accessed on the NFPA website: Link to full ROC on NFPA website.
